Cloud Computing and Its Implications for People with Cognitive Disabilities
The first presentation about Cloud Computing and Its Implications for People with Cognitive Disabilities associated with the Coleman Institute was at the Institute's 2008 conference when Bill Coleman presented “Augmented Reality: A Cyber-future Where Our Abilities Transend our Disabilities” [video]. His presentation included slides on “The Information Age: At the Inflection Point” [ppt, 1274k]. Since then the Institute has increasingly engaged in activities related to Cloud Computing.
Below you will find links to various resources that you may find useful, from understanding what Cloud Computing is, to a making a case for establishing a right to technology access for people with disabilities, to residential and community services and Cloud Computing. These one-of-a-kind videos, presentations and documents, and those that will be added over time, will be a valuable repository on cognitive disability and the future of technology.
