Cloud computing means storing and accessing data and programs over the Internet instead of your computer’s hard drive. The “cloud” is just another term people use when they are talking about the Internet. The Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities has been involved with research about the “cloud’s” ability to make technology more accessible for people with cognitive disabilities since 2008.
For your convenience we have consolidated some of our key research videos, papers, and presentations below. These materials were presented at the 2010 and 2011 annual Coleman Institute Conference on Cognitive Disabilities & Technology. Many of the issues highlighted in these papers, are still relevant today.
