Rick is Project Coordinator and Analyst on the State of the States in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Project.  In this role, he coordinates state data collection and compiles analysis for a longitudinal study of mental health, IDD, and physical/sensory disabilities.

The State of the States in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Project features data collection spanning 1997-2013 and is a project of National Significance.  In addition to his role with the Project, Rick has provided technical assistance for families, public officials, advocacy, and provider organizations.  He has written or co-written books, chapters, and journal articles and special reports on support for individuals and their families, accreditation, managed care, and public disability financing.
